Welcome to Wicomico Episcopal Church

Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Northern Neck, Wicomico Parish Church has been a place of worship, fellowship, and faithful service for more than 350 years. Located in Northumberland County, our church is rich in history and rooted in a deep commitment to the Gospel.

We are joyfully part of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia and the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Our worship honors the enduring Word and sacred traditions of the Anglican Communion, drawing us closer to God and to one another. As a church community, we seek to live out Christ’s commandment: to love others as God first loved us.

Our congregation includes individuals, couples, and families - some with generations of connection to the parish, others newly drawn by the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the warmth of our church family. At Wicomico Parish Church, all of God’s children are embraced and cherished, every person is welcome here.

Though we continue to grow numerically, we remain grounded in the spirit of a small country church, following Christ by caring for one another and extending compassion beyond our walls. We gratefully receive God’s presence in our daily lives, seek to experience His boundless love, and respond to His call to engage faithfully with the world around us.
